Wednesday Word | Perfect Faith

Good morning Gems! I hope you are all having a fantastic week and are looking forward to the weekend. I am. It's only the middle of the week, but I need to reboot and really get myself in order within my bedroom and within my mind. I feel so cluttered, even so that I almost didn't have a blog post for today, but as I was scrolling the Internet one thing popped up and stuck in my mind overnight.

Study Round-Up

Hey Gems! It's a new month, so it's time for some new studies! September wasn't the best month in all honesty because I slacked off with a lot of my readings. October was going to be a month of newness, but instead I'll be carrying over studies from September into October. Each month I find myself going through various different things and studies. From studying actual books of the Bible to reading a Christian non-fiction to doing online bible studies. This month is no different. If you want you can check out the video I've also listed everything down below for you to read if you'd prefer or even want to sign up for any of them. Books of the Bible The Gospel of Luke

Color Code Your Bible

Hey Gems! I pray you all had a blessed week at work and/or school. Today's post is a Bible tip that I personally find useful and so do many other Christians. Do you sometimes read your Bible and wonder how you can remember something specific like a date, a person, location, favorite verse or a command from God? Well, I'm going to help you out today with a quick tip! Yes that's right! Color coding is not just for your homework or the office. You can color code in your Bible as well. Color coding your Bible is a great way to keep track of certain things you want to remember or pinpoint. I'm a color code fanatic! I find it not only helpful to color code in my Bible, but it also makes it pretty as an added bonus. What is the color coding method?

Wednesday Word | Not A Judge

Happy Hump Day Gems! It's the middle of the week which means it's time to really reflect on how the week has gone so far and how we would like it to go for the rest of the week. Wednesday Word is in full effect and this is the second one. Ever since I wrote the first Wednesday Word last week, I've been asking God what this week's should be about and He immediately showed me many different ideas and topics to talk about. However, even with the boat load of ideas He gave me it's been hard to really pick one that would be perfect for this week. It wasn't until I started typing this post out that I settled on a focus for today...

Bible Study Essentials

Happy Monday Gems, Over the past three weeks I've been sharing my tips and thoughts on how to begin studying the Bible. I've shared six easy steps into getting started and gave four study methods to try out. Now we're going to talk about something else... Now, I know this may seem crazy to some of you. Essentials? For Bible study? Yes, there are some essentials that I believe are key to having an effective Bible study. These essentials can also help to make studying your Bible more interesting, interactive and fun ( at least for us girls ). Eight Bible Study Essentials 1) A study Bible is essential to your Bible study. Get a study Bible in a translation you understand with good, factual commentary.
