About Daughter of Increase

"He must increase, but I MUST decrease."

John 3:30

Founded in July 2017 by founder Nay Denise.

Daughter of Increase is a Christian empowerment ministry that geared women and girls to focus on helping them increase in their faith through the Word of God. Empowered by way of teachings, online resources, and community.

Why Daughter of Increase?

As His daughters, we must learn to decrease of ourselves daily so that God can increase us in the right areas in order for us to align our desires and wants with His to be more effective in the purpose and calling He has for us.

As a daughter of the One True King and as one of His heirs, we need to exude God and uplift one another. This ministry is built on sharing Godly inspiration and motivation that can be used daily.

About the Founder

Nay Denise, Founder & Creator of Daughter of Increase

Shané (pronounced Sha-Nay) has a strange name, many people assume her name is Shane, so she goes by Nay Denise. She is an ordinary 30 year old who's a mom to an amazing joyful little boy. She's the girl that didn't fit in (and still doesn't). She's the girl you can find sitting in a library with a good book or in a corner writing her thoughts away. She's the girl that has made several mistakes and failed a few times.

"It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect."

Psalms 18:32 NKJV

She is a girl of strength, love, faith...a daughter of the One True King.

Nay Denise felt the call to create a women's empowerment ministry during the darkest time of her life. She birthed Daughter of Increase on July 26, 2017 and launched the first blog on September 1, 2017. With it she desired to encourage, inspire and motivate women of all ages; to help believers deepen their walk; to help believes increase in their faith and guide unbelievers to know who God is, have a relationship with Jesus and begin their own personal faith walk.

Nay Denise is honored that God has entrusted her with this ministry, of being able to use her gifts to minster to others. She has a passion for writing and reading. In church, she minsters through dance, teaches Bible study and is an ordained Evangelist (August 2019). Her favorite scripture is Psalms 91.

"Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You."

Psalm 25:20-21 NKJV

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;...

CSB Study Bible for Women {Bible Review}

Good morning loves! I'm starting a new layout when it comes to doing my Bible reviews just because they need a more in-depth post than my book reviews. I created a new way that will help me share more info about each Bible so I hope this helps you all! Today's review is on the The Study Bible for Women in the CSB translation and I am so excited to do this review. I want to first thank B&H Publishing group for the opportunity to review this gorgeous Bible as they sent me this Bible for review. This Bible was release on April 15, 2018, so it's been out for almost a month now. I'm going to start off by sharing with you all what it says on the B&H website: Now available in the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation with revised and updated content and a fresh, new interior design, the CSB Study Bible for Women will equip you to reach deep into God’s Word. As the most comprehensive study Bible ever prepared for women and by women, the most powerful asp...

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene...
