Study Round-Up

Hey Gems!

It's a new month, so it's time for some new studies! September wasn't the best month in all honesty because I slacked off with a lot of my readings. October was going to be a month of newness, but instead I'll be carrying over studies from September into October.
Each month I find myself going through various different things and studies. From studying actual books of the Bible to reading a Christian non-fiction to doing online bible studies. This month is no different.

If you want you can check out the video
I've also listed everything down below for you to read if you'd prefer or even want to sign up for any of them.

Books of the Bible

The Gospel of Luke
I should have finished this in September, but I really slacked on doing a chapter a day. I've read the Gospel of John earlier this year and because my Bishop reads from Luke a lot on Sundays I decided this would be the next book to read.
Psalms
I'm doing a 90 day devotional from Our Daily Bread on the Psalms, so I figured I should continue on through. I started on chapter 40 yesterday. Hope to get to around the 80's by the end of the month. I'm also doing this as a Bible study with two of my younger siblings.
Proverbs
This is a family Bible study that we should have been doing every Saturday since August, but we've been slacking on it. We'll be diving back into this study Oct 7th for sure.

Books I'll be reading

Cling by Kim Cash Tate
I am reading this book for the Our Daily Bread Book Club. They are reading two chapters a week and doing weekly discussions on the book. I'll be reading chapters 7 and 8 this week.
Goliath Must Fall by Louie Giglio
I will be reading this along with doing the Bible study. The plan is to read two chapters a week as I go through the study. Sunday I read chapter 1 so I'll get into chapter 2 sometime this week.

Online Bible Studies

Goliath Must Fall by Louie Giglio
This is a study I'm doing with StudyGateway. It started October 1st and it's a 6 week study. Sign up for the study here.
Worthy of the Calling by Sarah Koontz
This is a free online study of Ephesians. I'll be doing this as preparation for when I really dive into Ephesians in November. It only takes 15 mins a day to do. It begins October 16th. Sign up here.
This may seem like a lot to some and a little for others. For me this works out great because I can study in the morning after breakfast, in the afternoon after lunch and in the evening before I go to sleep.

I pray this inspires some of you to study your Word more often in various ways be it your own personal study or an online study.

Happy studying all!
