Waiting on Wednesday | Cry of the Raven by Morgan L. Bussue

Hey Gems!!! Hey Gems! I am back for another WoW ( waiting on Wednesday ) posts. For those who missed my two previous ones I'll just tell you a bit about what Waiting on Wednesday is about. Waiting on Wednesday was originally created by Jill from Breaking the Spine back in 2008. It's basically a weekly post in which you spotlight a soon-to-be-released book (or books) that you're anticipating. I used to do this type of posts back in 2013 quiet often on my book blog, but never once on this blog, so I decided to add it to one of my weekly post ideas! Now that we have that done, let's dive into the book I am patiently and excitedly waiting to be released... Last week Morgan sent out the cover reveal in her newsletter and I was so excited and happy about it! The cover for book three is my FAVORITE by far! Title : Cry of the Raven Author : Morgan L. Busse Series : The Ravenwood Saga #3 Age : Adult Genres : Christian Fantasy Expected Publication Date

Happy 28th Birthday To Me!

Good morning Gems!!! It's currently 4:42am EST as I write this and I'm just in my thoughts. I am now 28 years old...two years from 30. Yes, today is my B I R T H D A Y !!!!!!!! As excited as I am about being a year older, I will say the past two weeks were insane for me emotionally. I was so concerned about my future, the plans that I had for myself that failed and almost being 30 that I started looking over my life and my past -- in doing so I found that I was making myself physically sick, stressed and feel down. However, Sunday was an awesome time in church. I was laid out on the floor, I went up in praise and I got my filling from God. I felt restoration, renewal and revival all at once. As emotional as I felt leading up to my birthday -- after yesterday, I am now feeling at peace with my day. At 28 years old I'm not successful according to the world. I mean let's take a look: I live at home with my mom and 3 younger siblings with my 5 year old son.

27 Things I've Learned in 27 Years

Good morning Gems!!! Happy Sunday to you all! I pray you all have a blessed day at church. We are in the month of June. That means we just about half-way through the year. It also means it's my birthday!!! Tomorrow I will be 28 years old ...I can't believe it. These past two weeks have been insanely emotional for me. I've been thinking on my life and wondering too much about where I'm going. Instead of focusing on the blessings I was focused on what's not right. I was looking at my life from the world's view rather than God's view. It drove me up a wall emotionally. I felt myself slipping. I thank God for His grace, peace and love that abounds because I was able to revert myself back to thoughts of Him alone. I do plan on posting tomorrow of course, but today I wanted to share 27 things I've learned in the past 27 years. These 27 things are personal and spiritual. These are things that have left their mark on my heart over the years... 1. I
