Land of Silence by Tessa Afshar {Book Review}

Blessed morning Gems!!!

Today is a fantastic day! Why you may be thinking? Because I FINALLY finished all 7 of Tessa Afshar's books. Yes -- I read all 7 and patiently await the release of Daughter of Rome now. I must say, Tessa has become my favorite biblical fiction author and is now an auto-buy author for me.

Land of Silence was just as great as her other novels. Many questioned if it would replace my love for Pearl in the Sand and sadly it did not. Nonetheless, I LOVED the book!

Wings of the Wind by Connilyn Cossette {Book Review}

Hey Gems!!!

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week of work and that your weekend will be splendid! Today, I have yet another book review (book nerd problems). If you haven't already read my review of Counted with the Stars or Shadow of the Storm go do that first before reading this post!
I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on the third and final book in the Out from Egypt trilogy. I would even consider this a sort of prequel to the Cities of Refuge series.
This is by far my FAVORITE of the trilogy. I loved Alanah, I adore Shira and Kiya. Rahab made an appearance. My girl Moriyah was included which makes me basis.
Let's talk about this cover though! I love the softness of the colors used and how the models outfit blends into the clouds and it ends with that hint periwinkle...GORGEOUS cover.

This book confirmed my initial thoughts on Shira. With this sequel I see her in a different light -- I definitely preferred her in Counted with the Stars.

However, can we talk about this cover!!! Gorgeous model and beautiful colors!
