About Daughter of Increase

Welcome to Daughter of Increase. A Christian empowerment blog geared towards females of all ages and races.

John 3:30 says "He must increase, but I MUST decrease." KJV.

Daughter of Increase is an all-female army moving together in unity with distinction and dignity to advance the kingdom of God. We are women marching in complete synchronization with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As His daughters, we must learn to decrease of ourselves daily so that God can increase us in the right areas so that we align our desires and wants with His to be more effective in the purpose and calling He has for us.

As a daughter of the One True King and as one of His heirs, we need to exude God and uplift one another. This blog was created to share Godly inspiration and motivation that can be used daily.

There will be posts ranging from faith talks, tips on studying the bible, book reviews, movie reviews, maybe even the occasional bible study.

About the Founder

Nay Denise, Founder & Creator of Daughter of Increase
Shane' (pronounced Sha-Nay) has a strange name, many people assume her name is Shane, so she goes by Nay Denise. She is an ordinary 27 year old who's a mom to an amazing joyful little boy and engaged to an awesome guy. She's the girl that didn't fit in (and still doesn't). She's the girl you can find sitting in a library with a good book or in a corner writing her thoughts away. She's the girl that has made several mistakes and failed a few times. She is a girl of strength, love, faith...a daughter of the One True King.

Nay is honored that God has entrusted her with this new adventure, of being able to use her gift of writing to minster to others. She has a passion for writing and reading. In church, she minsters through dance. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 91. She's felt the call to create a women's empowerment blog for a long time and finally made the plunge. She birthed Daughter of Increase on July 26, 2017 and launched the blog on September 1, 2017. With it she hopes to encourage, inspire and motivate women; to help believers deepen their walk and faith and help unbelievers to know who God is, about Jesus and begin their own faith walk.

"It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect." - Psalms 18:32 NKJV

"Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You." - Psalm 25:20-21 NKJV

CSB Study Bible for Women {Bible Review}

Good morning loves!

I'm starting a new layout when it comes to doing my Bible reviews just because they need a more in-depth post than my book reviews. I created a new way that will help me share more info about each Bible so I hope this helps you all!

Today's review is on the The Study Bible for Women in the CSB translation and I am so excited to do this review. I want to first thank B&H Publishing group for the opportunity to review this gorgeous Bible as they sent me this Bible for review. This Bible was release on April 15, 2018, so it's been out for almost a month now.

I'm going to start off by sharing with you all what it says on the B&H website:
Now available in the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation with revised and updated content and a fresh, new interior design, the CSB Study Bible for Women will equip you to reach deep into God’s Word. As the most comprehensive study Bible ever prepared for women and by women, the most powerful aspect of this…

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems!

Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer!
This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs.

Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room (which I HIGHLY recommend). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book:
“You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t general or generic, …
