My Rating:

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth has become an auto-buy author for me. Anything she writes I'll purchase because I know she aims to help others truly understand God and His Truth. Having done two of her studies before and read three of her books I knew this would be one that I needed on my shelves.
This study is ABSOLUTELY outstanding. This isn't setup like the typical women's Bible studies that Moody makes which are more of a 5-day devotional style of reading. No, this is an in-depth, deep study that walks you through scripture, helps you understand revival from a personal stand point and corporate revival. The questions are deep and go to the depth of understanding. The use of scripture is phenomenal.

This is not a surface level study. This is rooted and deep. You can't expect to fly through this study unchanged. This study will wreck you in a beautiful way. I highly recommend this as a great study for self and for a group!

Be prepared to cry and grow.

Blessings,

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene
