Synopsis:
When cybercriminals hack into the U.S. Marshal's Witness Protection database and auction off personal details to the highest bidder, FBI Agent Sean Nichols begins a high-stakes chase to find the hacker. Trouble is, he has to work with U.S. Marshal Taylor Mills, who knows the secrets of his past, and the seconds are ticking down before someone dies.My Rating:
Received a copy from the publisher.
I'm giving this a 3.5 star rating. The plot was good, the characters were interesting, subtle romance and very subtle faith aspects. As a suspense/crime novel it was pretty good, but I just couldn't get pulled into the story.
Sean was fantastic! My favorite character by far because I got to see many sides to him. Taylor was a bit annoying. Dustee was comical! I loved the entire RED team.
The whole phantom ordeal was insanely good! I found myself interested in wanting to know who the Phantom was and then that ending with the plot twist through me for a lovely loop.
Definitely good enough read for me to want to continue on with the series, but it wasn't something that pulled me into the story.
