My Rating
This was such an excellent action packed novel! I loved it from start to finish. The depths, the emotions, the drama -- it gave me Jason Statham feels. The writing was well done. I always felt pulled into a scene be it emotional or fight scene.

Grayson Wolf is a man of mystery. He's dark and brooding. Emotionally weak, but physically strong. He dealt with MAJOR hardships thanks to his job as an assassin. He was excellent at his job that he got the name Mors who was the Roman embodiment of death. He was a devil and a demon to many. After some horrible things take place he decides to use his skills to help the less fortunate.

Grayson is such an amazing man. He was tormented by his past and always wanted to die, but he had such a huge heart. I loved how caring he was for others. He made me laugh, cry and scream. Learning about his past was heartbreaking. Seeing him turn into Mors was epic. Gray is such a phenomenal man and can definitely hold his own against hundreds. LOVED HIM!

Jack -- oh my. I didn't expect his end so soon, but I loved him. Like Grayson, he was a big softie. He was caring and sweet. He sought to do good for people even though his skills were dark. I loved him.

Anna was such a darling girl. She didn't deserve how she was treated. She was such an angel and true blessing to the world. Knowing the truth about her was insane! I mean seriously she was blessed, but it became her curse. I loved how responsible she was especially in her interactions with Gray. She had so much wisdom. Adored her!

McCoy was a twisted man. He deserved to die the minute Jack found out the truth. He was a coward and greedy man. I didn't like him at all. Vasquez was ANNOYING from start to finish. I really couldn't stand him. Too cocky and wanted to be number one. That was his downfall.

That ending K I L L E D me...why?!?!?!?!?!?! I loved it!

Totally recommend this if you're looking for an action packed read!

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;...

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene...
