40 Day Prayer Challenge: Day 39 - Pray in Faith

Good Evening Gems!!!

Just as I mentioned the other day, I'm stumped on what to write. I have a notebook with all my thoughts and scriptures prepared, but we are down to the wire!!! I want today to be a free day of just relaxing on a "routine".

Pray freely and openly today. Don't think too hard about what you're saying and/or journaling. Pray to God as your Father, your Provider and your Waymaker. Go to Him with a humble, sincere and make your thoughts, emotions and concerns known to Him.

The only thing I challenge you to do today is to pray in faith believing that what you prayed for is already answered. I know it's hard to do...I sometimes fail at praying in faith, but I'm working on it. I want us all to work on it together.

As I pray in faith, I want you all to pray in faith as well.

Tomorrow is the last day and makes me both excited and teary eyed. I pray you all have had a blessed day and will continue to do so.

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club!
