Good Morning Gems!!!
Yesterday we talked about praying for believers so today we are going to talk about praying for unbelievers...
Why should we pray for those who don't believe? It may seem like a silly question, but I'm sure many have asked that question before. I know I have when I was more new in my faith as a teen.
Just like we need to pray for believers to remain strong in the kingdom, God expects us to pray for those who are lost and don't know Him.
Christ continually prayed for the lost to be found. We (believers) were all once lost and needed someone to pray for us to bring us into the light and kingdom of God. We need to be that kind of person -- that one who prays for the unbeliever.
Pray that they find their way to the Father. Pray for their hearts to be softened so that God may enter them. Pray for them to fear God so that they may gain wisdom. There are so many ways we can pray for unbelievers and it's essential that we do so.
Be it someone we know, a stranger we met -- all unbelievers need someone praying for them.
There are so many scriptures you can use to guide you in prayer for unbelievers, but one of my favorites is found in Ezekiel 11:19 and also in chapter 36 of Ezekiel:
Please be as true to yourself as possible when answering the prompt to get the most out of this challenge.
Today's scripture comes from 2 Timothy 2:25-26:
Spend 3-7 minutes journaling your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Use the prompt.
Verbal Prayer
Take 5 minutes and verbally speak your written prayer. Pray out loud so that He can hear your voice. If your prayer is short, try to add to it. Use the scripture to pray today. Pray for the person you wrote down from today's prompt.
Listen
Sit quietly in a position that will not make you tired and wait on God. You may feel His presence, you may hear from Him. If you do, write down what He says or what you're feeling. Give yourself at least 2 minutes of pure silence to be able to hear from and feel God. This is a conversation, not a rant. Allow Him the opportunity to speak to you after you've spoken to Him.
Let's pray...

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. - Ezekiel 36:26-27
Best thing to do is find a scripture that sparks your heart to pray and use it to pray for unbelievers to come to Christ and to know God.
Journaling PromptPlease be as true to yourself as possible when answering the prompt to get the most out of this challenge.
What scripture can you use to pray for unbelievers? What can you pray for concerning an unbeliever? Do you, personally, know an unbeliever that you can pray for right now?Scripture
Today's scripture comes from 2 Timothy 2:25-26:
In humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.Prayer Journaling

Let's pray...
Heavenly Father, we come to You this morning interceding for unbelievers. We ask that You circumcise their hearts so that they can be joined and fully submit to You without hesitation. We pray that You would give them a heart of flesh that's soft, responsive and able to yield to You. Abba, put Your Spirit within them. Free them from their bondage of sin and remove the blinding influence of Satan and his minions. Help them see the light and come to the Savior. If they should find themselves caught in a snare, help them to escape so that they may see Your glory, mercy and love. We fervently pray for the lost to be found and the found to be revived. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
