40 Day Prayer Challenge: Day 22

Good morning Gems!!!

It's day two for me in TN and I'm enjoying myself. Today I want to apologize because I got ahead of myself yesterday with beginning week four. Today is the actual first day of week four -- lol. Being that I made a slight error, today is going to be considered a free a day in which you can simply pray freely to God about whatever is on your heart. There will be no set scripture or prompt.

Make today about you and the Father. Keep in mind all the things we learned these last three weeks as you pray. Incorporate a prayer method and combine prayer types. This is personal so get vulnerable with Him today.

Tomorrow we will begin diving into the Lord's Prayer.

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club!
