Styles: This Bible comes in three different styles. A brown hardcover with a very pretty design. An all black with the words "Holy Bible" on it in gold foil. A deluxe cloth over board with teal, red, yellow and brow detailing.
Purchase:
This is my first time ever seeing and using a double column journaling Bible and I must say I am enjoying it so far. I have the deluxe edition which comes with a gorgeous red, yellow and teal paisley design and brown leather over board. The feel of Bible is amazing in hands, especially because of it's thin and small size. When you open the Bible you are greated with beautiful teal end-pages in the same paisley design. The aesthetics for this Bible is just superb.

As for the inside of this Bible, the quality of the paper is beautiful to write on with its light cream color. It's easy to turn and write on. I found no problems with using a Micron, Pentel RSVP Pen, Zebra Mildliner or Sharpie highlighter (smear guard). As far as the printing of the text -- so enjoyable! The text is a nice size and it's all line matched for easy flow of reading. It's also red letter text which I am a major fan of! Who doesn't love the words of Christ in red?!

The 2+ inches wide margin with lines are great for jotting down notes from sermons, prayers or just personal thoughts. I could even have fun and throw some stickers to decorate. I also love the adequate space provided on the top and bottom of the page for more note-taking. My favorite part has to be the resources in the back of the Bible as many journaling Bibles don't include reference or resources in the back of their Bibles.

Resources include the harmony of the gospels chart, miracles from both Old Testament & New Testament,  Parables from the Old Testament & New Testament and Old Testament prophecies of the passion. These are excellent for studying the Word even further or comparing the different books with one another.

I, personally, have never had a double column style journaling Bible, so being able to make use of this is going to be a fun learning experience for me. As much as I am a fan of a single column, I do see the appeal of a double column as it makes for the Bible to be thinner and easier to carry around, especially in a purse or small Bible bag.

Do I recommend this Bible? Yes I totally do. It's ideal for all ages. Whether drawing or writing. I, however, can't wait to take mine to church to do some sermon note-taking.

Blessings,

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene
