Since the beginning of time, God has kept His promises. Through the stories of Adam and Eve, Abraham, Joseph, Peter, Paul, and many more, children will learn about the character and nature of God and His unending love for His people. Offer children the chance to learn about the promises God made to His followers in the Bible, and the knowledge that they still get to experience these promises today. Each chapter features a promise from God accompanied by a story example from the Bible and an application for children today.

Max Lucado, beloved pastor and bestselling author, is a revered authority on biblical teaching. Yet his gentle, loving approach makes it possible for even the youngest children to understand God’s tenderness toward them.

Through beautiful illustrations and compelling stories, Max will guide your family through God’s unfailing goodness and faithfulness through the promises He made, and how He kept those promises in Bible times and how He still keeps them today.
My Rating:
This book is PERFECT for a family to use with their child. I love reading books with my son, so I knew this was going to be perfect and it is! This can be used as a devotional as there are certain books and chapters taken from the Bible. This books works on instilling the basis of hope in a child and opening their minds to the people in the Bible. Perfect for bedtime or morning devotional time with your little one.

My son is 4 years old and he enjoyed the artwork throughout the book. This is a well written and kept my son interested as I read it to him. This really is a great way to encourage your children to read the Bible without them having a physical Bible. I know that Max Lucado is a well-known and trusted author in the Christian community.

This is a hardcover copy so its great to have throughout the years. It can be passed down the line to your children and even grandchildren. Such a beautiful gift to give a child between the ages of 4 to 8.

Go grab a copy!
