Cling Summer Book Club

Hey Gems!!! Summer is here so that means we will begin a new book club pick!
We are diving into our 4th book club pick! We just finished up The Battle Plan for Prayer by Stephen & Alex Kendrick which was hosted by lovely sis Angie over at Transform through God's Word. It was such a powerful read! I loved everything about it and we also did the corresponding study with it. Life changing and has completely altered my view on prayer.

This summer we will be diving into a book I think will help us hone the things we've studied these past few studies and book clubs. Cling by Kim Cash Tate. I absolutely love this book because it really helps you to understand how to cling to God in many ways -- especially through prayer and Bible study. Here's the synopsis from her website:
By God’s design, the desire to be wanted and loved runs deep inside everyone He created. In an engaging and down-to-earth way, author Kim Cash Tate encourages you to satisfy that desire by living in the fullness of God’s love. Cling shares wisdom from biblical examples and the author’s personal experiences to help you cultivate an ongoing closeness with the Lord through prayer and Bible study. Discover how to have an intimacy with God that will sustain you through the imperfect, the disappointing, and the trying times of life.
I am so excited to get into this book again along with the six session study. Both of these together will really help us to keep our fire for God ignited! All you need is your book, a Bible, some paper, pen and maybe some highlighters as well. I've recently found that taking notes and marking up my books help me to retain all that I learn, so join the ladies and I on this new journey!
Book club will begin on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 in which I post up the first video session titled Cling. That Monday, July 2nd, 2018 we will begin with the Introduction and a study guide will be posted with questions.

I will be posting all video sessions in the group so the DVD is not needed. Every Monday we will read a new chapter of the book and discuss it every Friday or Saturday. I pray you join us this coming July!

Get a copy of the book (or ebook) and let's read!

Blessings,

As the most comprehensive study Bible ever prepared for women and by women, the most powerful asp
