Hey Gems!

Today I want to share a Bible with you all that I received this gorgeous beauty from Lifeway and BH Blogger for free in exchange for an honest review. This is a Bible geared towards kids around the ages of 7-12 and it's in the CSB translation which is easy to read and understand.
CSB Kids Bible, HardcoverCSB Kids Bible, Hardcover
This CSB Kids Bible offers young readers an exciting approach to Bible study. Dozens of full-color pages are filled with study helps that will expand kids’ Bible knowledge and help them connect to the people, places, and events they are learning about. Perfect for using at home, church, and school, the CSB Kids Bible is a Bible that will grow with your kids as they grow in Christ.
Part of what makes the CSB Kids Bible so special is the readable, faithful-to-the-original text of the Christian Standard Bible. The CSB’s optimal blend of accuracy and readability makes it a trustworthy, easy-to-understand resource for kids to study and memorize today—and to live and share for a lifetime.

Features included in the Bible:
  • 40 full-color pages with study helps and maps
  • Printed page edges
  • Large, easy-to-read type
  • Bible skills checklist
  • Presentation page
  • Summaries for all Bible divisions
  • Complete text of the Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
I love this Bible! I am a fan of the original HCSB from Holman, so I knew the updated CSB would be a good one to own for my little guy. Though my son is only 4 years old, he loves to flip through this Bible while reading his other one. I love that this Bible is red letter text. That means that the gospel which contains the words of Jesus are written in red -- I just feel like all Bible should have red letter text. I love the little Bible quizzes and study notes that are all throughout the Bible. It makes it relate-able and fun for children to use and feel like they are really getting something out of reading and/or studying the Bible. I think I more so love the Bible helps in the front of Bible that really helps a kid create their own personal devotion/quiet time with God. I think it's an awesome foundational Bible in a great translation with key addons that help to build their faith.
If you're interested in grabbing this Bible for your little one grab a copy at one of the following places:

Keep in mind, this Bible comes in the hardcover (which I have) as well as leather touch with different designs.

Overall this is an awesome Bible and I highly recommend you all to grab a copy if you're looking for a useful Bible for your children.

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene
