War Room {Movie Review}

Happy Friday Gems!

Today I want to do a review on an awesome movie that I tend to recommend a lot to new believers and seasoned ones. It's a movie that will speak to your heart and change your life.
War Room is by far one of my favorite Christian movies, besides from The Passion of Christ. War Room is all about family, prayer and faith. It goes deep into how we fight our battles in the flesh and how we really should fight them in.

About the Movie:
From the award-winning creators of Fireproof and Courageous comes WAR ROOM, a compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships, and every other area of our lives.
Tony and Elizabeth Jordan seemingly have it all—great jobs, a beautiful daughter, and their dream house. But appearances can be deceiving. Tony and Elizabeth Jordan’s world is actually crumbling under the strain of a failing marriage. While Tony basks in his professional success and flirts with temptation, Elizabeth’s bitterness only increases.
But their lives take an unexpected turn when Elizabeth’s newest client, Miss Clara, challenges Elizabeth to establish a prayer “war room” and a battle plan of prayer for her family. As Elizabeth begins to fight for her family, Tony must decide if he will make amends.
As Miss Clara wisely says, “Victories don’t come by accident!” A #1 movie in theaters, WAR ROOM is filled with more of the authentic characters loved by millions in previous Kendrick Brothers’ films and a vivid reminder that prayer is a powerful weapon.
I give this movie a full on  rating because it really convicted me and sparked a new passion for prayer in my life. It made me want to take my prayer life more seriously. I think if you're struggling with prayer or want to get deeper into that you need to check out this movie.

Trailer:

This is one for the entire family to see! Kids, parents, grandparents and relatives. There are many companions for this movie such as a study guide, prayers and books. I highly suggest that if you watch this movie and are a woman, grab yourself a copy of Fervent by Priscilla Shirer (she plays Elizabeth in the movie.) It will make the movie ten times better for you!

Have you seen this phenomenal movie?
