Faith-Based Bucket List

Happy Friday Gems!

I missed out Wednesday's post because I was thinking of what to do on Wednesdays and I came up with something, but I can't share that until next week. Today, however, I wanted to share something I've been pondering over the past two weeks and that's a faith-based bucket list.
We all know what a bucket list is, but for those who don't know a bucket list is a list of things you want to do or achieve before you reach a certain age or before you leave this earth. I've made about 3 different lists in my life and I've gotten some things done and others not so much. However, I decided that I wanted to scratch those lists and create one all about God and how I can glorify Him in my life and deepen my walk with Him before leaving this earthly realm and going to heaven.

Here is my little list on my list so far...
  1. Win souls for Jesus
  2. Attend 2 women's conference (I've attended many as kid and teen, but none as an adult)
  3. Study the entire Bible (currently have studied 4 books and working on 3 now)
  4. Memories Psalms 91 in it's entirety (I only remember vs 1-10)
  5. Minister in dance more often (Getting back into dance this Sunday at church)
  6. Plant a small garden of flowers
  7. Give a child in a need the Christmas of their life
  8. Do monthly random acts of kindness that are faith based
  9. Host a church event
  10. Host a Christian book club
  11. Teach a Bible study
  12. Volunteer at a Children's hospital
  13. Volunteer at a women's shelter
  14. Volunteer at a nursing home
  15. Mend a broken relationship
  16. Visit the Holy Land
  17. Raise my son to love Jesus wholeheartedly
  18. Inspire and mentor other young women
  19. Spend a weekend completely alone with God
  20. Unplug for a day and focus on God
  21. Make and sale DOI apparel
These may seem silly or small, but these things bring glory to God in my life. I want to do things like this more often because He not only is worthy of all the glory and praise, but because it brings me closer to Him. I want to help other get closer to Him too.

Some of these I've already started on such as numbers 3, 5, 17 and 18. Some of these will take some time. Either way, these are things I want to do while I still have time on earth.

Do you have a faith based bucket list?
