Synopsis:

My Rating:

This was shockingly great historical fiction novel! I enjoyed the characters, the romance and the faith aspects. I am giving this a 4.5 star rating because I just wanted a little more from the book, but this was overall a strong novel. I loved the setting of Ireland and getting to feel as if I was there. I loved Moira and her heart. Sean was a great companion romance wise. He was just as warm-hearted as Moira. I enjoyed Brid, Peg and Colm as well. This was heavy on having compassion and showing God's love to others. I truly loved the use of scripture and how Jennifer emphasized it through her characters. I would highly recommend this!

I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now.
