The news is filled with stories of violence, division, and despair. American politics have become polarized. Effective leadership is in short supply. Change may seem outside our reach. And Christians struggle to understand their role in reversing the downward spiral of our nation.
Dr. Tony Evans offers a healthy dose of hope: the solution to our nation’s problems and unrest isn’t out of reach. The solution is here—and each one of us as Kingdom Citizens has a vital role to play.
Be assured that our God is greater than any challenge—and He has promised to equip His people. In Kingdom Citizen, you’ll discover how to respond in faith, in spite of a country and culture in decline.
Here is a powerful call to action for concerned Christians. Here is a call for unity and restoration. And here is strong assurance that each of us has the ability to walk justly, to seek truth, and to stand in the gap for our land
My Rating:
Dr. Tony Evans is a man of godly wisdom. I enjoy hearing from by way of his books or videos. This book, which consists of five chapters that are packed with a punch. Dr. Evans offers hope in a world that seems to be shrouded in darkness. This book dives into politics and the craziness of the news. It gives biblical ways to offset the despair and violence in the world. Dr. Evans helps us see things as the prophet Nehemiah, Queen Esther and King David did. The book also includes prayers for our country and includes questions that can be used as a study guide.

Though I am not much of a fan of politics anymore, I must say I enjoyed this book. The book itself, not including the appendices, is less than 100 pages so its a quick read. I read this in 5 days, taking 1 chapter per day. I enjoyed the the prayers in the back and used the questions as a way to deepen my understanding of the book. Dr. Tony Evans knows how grasp the mind of the reader and apply biblical knowledge to things that are happening in our current times.

Enjoyable read and totally recommend it.
