When it comes to the realm of biblical studies, students of the Bible are often overwhelmed, both with the sheer volume of information and with all of the unfamiliar terms, concepts, and topics. Like any other field of study, the serious study of the Bible has developed a specialized vocabulary. The key terms in this important field are defined in The Compact Dictionary of Biblical Studies. It provides clear, concise, and accurate definitions to help students of the Bible make sense of the specialized language of biblical studies.
My Rating: 
This was something that sparked my interest because I saw the word dictionary without really paying attention to it also including biblical studies. This is a dictionary that's best used for theological or seminary students. This isn't the best for those who are just reading the Word for personal understanding. However, even so, I did enjoy flipping through here and picking it up when I did my personal studies. This has information on different tribes, locations, terms, people and more. This is definitely best used in an academic setting, but I would recommend it if you find yourself wanting to learn more historically.

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now.
