My Rating:
As a mommy, I just ADORE this little Bible. This is one I could see myself always getting for a baby shower because its an full text Bible, the words of Jesus are in red and it also contains cute pages to fill with interesting facts about a newborn. This is a simple two column Bible. The font might be a little small, but this ideal for a mother looking to build a cute keepsake box for her baby to give them down the line (the baby's 18th or 21st birthday, to save as part of a will or even part of a legacy gift). This Bible contains the cutest little illustrations ever that are Baby friendly and goes with its selected scripture. I truly love this Bible and totally recommend it many moms or mommy-to-bes out there!

I plan to use this and write notes and highlight key scriptures for my future child. Just a beautiful Bible. I love this!

DOI Book Club - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer

Good morning Gems! Today, I'll be sharing with you all one of the exciting things I'll be starting in March and it's a book club! I polled on Facebook and Instagram and had you all vote and the winner was a no-brainer! This is the first Book Club that I’ll be hosting ever and I am so excited. Fervent by Priscilla Shirer won hands down! We’re jumping into the topic of prayer and I’m a big person on reading and learning all that I can about prayer. I don’t know about you all, but my prayer life has its ups and downs. Now for those of you who don’t know, Priscilla Shirer is the actress from the movie War Room ( which I HIGHLY recommend ). She wrote a book for woman based off of the movie. Here’s bit of what to expect from this phenomenal book: “You have an enemy . . . and he’s dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What’s more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn’t gene...

VOTW | Isaiah 41:10 - Ever Present Help

Good morning Gems (& Gents)! This past weekend has been insane in both a good and scary way. I experienced something frightening, but in that situation I felt a sense of peace and contentment that I'd never would have experienced before if my relationship with God wasn't where it is now. As I was thinking of a verse for this week, I came across this one from the book of Isaiah and I knew this was it: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Such a small, yet powerful verse. This is a command and a promise from our Father whether we are in times of despair or in seasons of gladness. Though told this to the people of Israel, this verse is still true to His children today. Let's start off by breaking down some of the words in this verse shall we: Fear : the Hebrew word is  yare' meaning to cause to frighten ( affright ); to make or be afraid;...
